Terms of use

This is an English translation provided for convenience. The Slovak version is the binding one; if the two differ, the Slovak version prevails.

1. What edgewatch is

edgewatch is an information service that collects the publicly available odds of bookmakers licensed by the Gambling Regulatory Authority of the Slovak Republic (ÚRHH), compares them with reference odds and displays statistics derived from them (the best odds, an estimate of the fair price, expected value, surebets, an overview of promotions). The service does not operate gambling, accepts neither bets nor deposits, does not manage accounts with bookmakers and does not act on the user's behalf.

2. Who may use the service

The service may be used only by persons over 18 years of age. By registering, you confirm that you meet this condition. If you are entered in the register of excluded persons in Slovakia, do not use the service.

3. No warranties or advice

The data displayed are calculations from third-party odds, which change every minute and may contain errors, delays or outages. Nothing in the service is financial advice, a recommendation to place a bet or a promise of profit. The decision to place a bet and its consequences are yours alone. 4. Account and subscription

• A free account shows data with a delay and with a limited number of rows. The Pro subscription shows data without delay or limits and gives access to a private Telegram channel.
• The subscription is concluded for one month or one year and is paid in advance through the Stripe payment gateway. It renews automatically until you cancel it. You can cancel it at any time in your account settings; Pro access lasts until the end of the paid period. Money is not refunded for the unused remainder of the period, unless the law provides otherwise.
• Prices are stated in euros including VAT, where it applies. We will announce a price change by e-mail at least 30 days in advance; it applies from the following period.
• The account is personal. Sharing login credentials, automated downloading of data (scraping), circumventing the delay or the limits, or reselling the data is not permitted and may lead to the account being closed without compensation.

5. Links to bookmakers

Links to bookmakers may be partner (affiliate) links. Any commission has no influence on which odds we show as the best; the order is always determined by how high the odds are. Bookmakers are separate entities with their own terms; edgewatch is not liable for their services, their limits or the payout of winnings.

6. Availability and changes to the service

We provide the service as is. We may modify, extend or suspend it at any time, for example when a bookmaker changes its interface. In the event of a longer outage of Pro features (more than 72 hours in a single month), we will extend the subscription by a corresponding period.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by the law of the Slovak Republic, we are not liable for losses arising from the use of, or the inability to use, the service, for decisions made on the basis of the data displayed, or for the conduct of bookmakers. This does not affect the rights of consumers under the law.

8. Personal data protection

The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

9. Changes to the terms and governing law

We may change the terms; we will inform you of material changes by e-mail or in the app at least 14 days in advance. If you do not agree with a change, you may close your account. The relationship is governed by the law of the Slovak Republic. A consumer may turn to the Slovak Trade Inspection (Slovenská obchodná inšpekcia) or to an alternative dispute resolution body.
